Trust

Saint  Faustina Kowalska and the Divine Mercy

Accepting the Mercy of God is an act of trust, and asking for it is trusting totally in Him, for God is all goodness and clemency, and he loves us, takes care of us and seeks our eternal happiness.

”The more a soul trusts, the more it will receive. The souls that trust blindly are a great comfort to Me, because I pour all the treasures of my grace on them. I rejoice if they ask a lot, because it is my desire to give a lot. On the other hand, I feel sad when souls ask for little, they repress their hearts ” . (1577-1578)

”Your commitment must be total trust in My blessing to give you everything you need. I become dependent on your trust; if your trust is great My generosity will know no limits. ” (548)

” How painfully distrust in My blessing hurts me. The sins of distrust are those that hurt Me most painfully ” . (1076)

” Attaining grace depends on the trust of each soul. If your trust is absolute, there are no limits to my generosity. The torrents of grace flood humble souls. The proud always remain in poverty and misery, because my grace moves away from them, heading towards the humble. ”  (1593)
