Jesus awaits the sinners

Saint Faustina and the Divine Mercy

“Write that I am three times Holy, and that I hate even the smallest sin. I cannot love a soul that is stained with sin. But when you repent, there is no limit to My generosity. My mercy embraces and accepts you. With My mercy, I direct sinners along a path and My heart rejoices when they return to Me. I forget the bitterness with which they fed My Heart and I rejoice over their return. Tell sinners that none will escape from My hand. If they avoid My merciful Heart, they will fall into my righteous hands. Tell sinners that I am always waiting for them, that I listen carefully to the beating of their heart … when it beats for Me. Write that I am speaking to them when I awaken their conscience, through their failures, their suffering, through the storms in their life, and I speak through the voice of the Church too. And if they fail to appreciate my Graces, I do grow angry at them, leaving them alone and delivering to them them what they deserve. ”* (Diary 1728)

Jesus wants us to find him today. Let’s get closer to the sacrament of reconciliation! Confessing our sins to a Priest brings us closer to the Mercy of God!
